First time going here. When I say 10/10 the best. Food so authentic and delicious they even give you your moneys worth frfr. Our server was Cynthia shes madd cool and her customer service was on point. When yall want some drinks get a medium size or pitcher. The el patron platter definitely worth it

This was my first time eating here. The waiter was very friendly. Quick service! My plate was served up with a large portion of delicious food. I ordered a fajita. I was given the choice of two sides. I enjoyed ordering fresh vegetables as one of the sides! This place is a hidden gem!

Best Mexican restaurant ever

A pleasant surprise. We tend to gravitate to stand-alone establishments over store-front venues, but decided to give this a rry. Their menu is quite extensive, a lot of dishes you don't generally find in a beans & rice joint. We got the veggie fajitas (zucchini & yellow squash, red & green peppers, spinach & red onion) with half a dozen shrimp add-on and it was excellent. The veggies were fresh, nicely seasoned, sauteed & hot on the skillet.
The service was fast & friendly, but the atmosphere was a bit lacking. It was a Friday night and they packed. There was waiting for groups, but they seated the two of us right away. It was a bit noisey for us and the choice of music was horrific (some weird techno stuff I've never heard of, not mexican mood music ;-). We would probably go back...for the food anyway.

A huge shout out to El Patron and Jorge Morales and the entire staff of El Patron for accommodating a party of 32 with the BEST service! The food and drinks were delicious and everyone left happy! Do not let the appearance of the strip center put you off - eat here and have a great experience!!!!

Overall our experience here was amazing! We got the pineapple fajitas which were very flavorful, it was a really nice change up from regular fajitas. We also got the burrito Fundio which was SO delicious! The cheese they top it with was so good, and the fried tortilla was great as well. The street corn was so delicious too, and one of our favorite parts of the meal. Definitely some of the BEST Mexican food we have EVER tried.

I ate there while passing through town the chimichanga had good flavor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even turned the music down when I asked for a quieter area.

We usually frequent smaller, boutique, restaurants, but sometimes the family needs large quantities of cheese dip! The places are usually very loud, and this one is no exception. The drinks are pretty strong, and this place is no exception. The portions are medium size or big, and this place is no exception. This is a good version of the type of Mexican chain restaurant that produces fajitas and strong drinks and cheese dip. And, lets face it, sometimes thats what a family with two teenager needs on a Friday night!

During my initial visit today around noon, sat at the bar. There was a few people in restaurant which is good. The decor was a little dated but not too bad. The margaritas are fantastic and huge! The chorizo cheese dip was fabulous. The steak street tacos are very delicious. I highly recommend this mexican restaurant. I'll definitely come back!!

The place to go if you want a sit-down Mexican meal, otherwise go to taco truck. The music is loud, full bar and they have quick service.

Big plate of patron special. chicken, grilled flank steak, seasoned shrimp. I don't know what kind of marinate they use, it is different than typical carne asada. Anyway, it was good. Meat is seasoned and portion is large enough.

I take a look at their drink menu, never seen so many margaritas variety before. I only had a beer after work so maybe next time I will try their special margaritas.

George was my bartender, and he did a fantastic job. Not only was he courteous and attentive, but he was hilarious too! The food is pretty great as well, he recommended the patron burrito and it was delicious. Also, definitely try out the cheer wine margarita... It doesn't sound like it would work, but it does! I will be back next time I am in town, no doubt.

Skeptical at first but ended up leaving on a full stomach and happy. This place has a variety of queso Dips and food. Guac tasted fresh. The Parton burrito was great with the side of rice and beans. The fajitas was great as well. Margarita was sweet. This place satified our Mexican cravings.

I can honestly say I haven't visited this establishment since 2013, and I always said I couldn't wait to go back, and after visiting a decade later, they did not disappoint every single bite was love.

It was really with pork+pineapple. I two very rough pieces in my tacos which I had to spit out, but thats kind of expected with food sometimes. Overall the food was pretty good. It was super dark in there and it made it difficult to see the best. The waiter was average and was mostly attentive. He was busy and had lots to do so we understand.

I really like the way they serve the refried beans, in a hard taco shell. My wife got chicken Chimichanga, which she get everywhere and said it is above average. I went with Carnitas Dinner. It was average, decent flavor - but just a little on the dry side. I really loved the Mexican Corn on the Cobb - maybe Mexican Corn? No idea, but the buttery sweet flavor was killer. We found this place as we pass by the highway. We are so glad we did! As we walk in it looks like a typical texmex ordinary Mexican restaurant. But the food surprised me!!! It is gourmet extraordinary quality!!! We order the agua chile, guacamole and the azada plate (cant remember the name, comes with chicken, stake and shrimp) it was all so delicious!!!!

Been a little while since weve been here, it used to be on the regular weekly rotation. Now I remember why! The vibe is colorful & boisterous. Saw several large Cheerwine margaritas even though I dont drink they looked cool! There were plenty of chips, salsa, queso, & guacamole to start with and the unsweet tea was perfect!! We were a party of 15 & they accommodated us with room to spare & we walking around celebrating our Uncle Jamie Ballards birthday!! Carne Asada was on point, perfect Mexican rice, and blacks beans, roasted jalapeo, grilled onion, avocado slices, pico de gallo, lettuce & warm corn tortillas!! My sons Carne Asada & fries were delicious as well, while wife enjoyed her favorite beef tacos! We had a great time well be back sooner.

Ordered take out, called it in and then went straight to the restaurant. Had to wait just a few minutes, understandably. When we got home with it, everything was correct and perfectly delicious. The portion sizes were so large, that it made two meals for the three of us. The amount of chips given to us was amazing. We also had plenty of salsa. Will definitely recommend this restaurant and we will definitely do take out again.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food is consistently good.

I love me some Don Juan's in Lexington and thought no other restaurant could hold a candle to them but... El Patron's food is so delicious!! They have wonderful vegetarian choices as well! The service isn't as good as Don Juan's because DJ's staff are super friendly but their service is fair. This last time I went, the waitress was nice but the 1st time...the service was not good and the waitress was not too friendly.

Ordered the Mexican torta with steak and a side of fries, the torta seemed to use bread made in house and was overall pretty good, the fries were also good. Came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa, the chips were good and the salsa was slightly spicy but also a bit thin.

I had a great time at El Patron. The atmosphere was great and the seafood fajitas were excellent. The sauces were rich and spicy and the seafood was fresh and flavorful, as were the vegetables. The food is the best Mexican grill food I've ever had. Every single item ordered was cooked with a great level of care and attention to detail. The service and pricing was enough to visit again alone. The drinks and options were detail and experience driven/oriented and top level. I was thoroughly surprised this place didn't have even more reviews and definitely needs a new location upgrade as the quality overall is far exceeding its location. I don't usually take home leftovers from Mexican grill but this food was well worth it.

Outstanding family-friendly Mexican restaurant. They had some of the best guacamole we've ever had. Tasty chips, salsa, and pico de Gallo keep you going while you wait for your main courses. The chilled mugs for the beer are a nice touch. The menu has a great range of options. It all looks so good. I had the Popeye enchiladas, which were a bit non-traditional but delicious all the same. Recommended.

Was in Salisbury on a separate errand and dropped in for our first-ever visit (drawn by the exceptional reviews we'd read online). El Patron did NOT disappoint. This is without exception the best Mexican food we've found in this region. We had the Pastor tacos and the "Build Your Own" burrito (jalapeno tortilla, steak, rice, beans, guacamole with the salsa verde and cheese drizzle). Both were exceptional. Was a genuine pleasure to meet and speak with Jorge as well. We'll be back!!

This is my new place to eat authentic Mexican food. Tuesdays and Thursdays is 2 dollar tacos and they offer a wide array of tacos off of this menu. I ordered the Baja shrimp, DE asada, braised beef tongue and the supremos tacos. All of these were amazing, except for the braised beef tongue that literally smelled like bad body odor.

El Patron Mexican Grill, Salisbury, is one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The ambience is decorative and festive in the Mexican tradition. Service is excellent, whether it's take out, ordering ahead, or dine in. No shortage of staff here. One feels well taken care of, and the food is excellent.

They kinda messed the order with the sides. Ordered a chicken soup instead a veggie one and the beans side was kinda soupy (maybe a bean soup?). It doesn't matter, I ate either way, it was good. The burrito was loaded with meat and it was delicious. I was impressed, because I had leftovers for the next day and everything tasted fresh.
I don't like Mexican food that much (maybe because I've never tried real Mexican food before?) But this place is 10/10.

Mahi mahi, shrimp, chicken, beef, chorizo wrapped in your choice of flour, corn or lettuce. Last night they served a mojito stuffed full of mint! So so good!

They kinda messed the order with the sides. Ordered a chicken soup instead a veggie one and the beans side was kinda soupy (maybe a bean soup?). It doesn't matter, I ate either way, it was good. The burrito was loaded with meat and it was delicious. I was impressed, because I had leftovers for the next day and everything tasted fresh.
I don't like Mexican food that much (maybe because I've never tried real Mexican food before?) But this place is 10/10.

Service is excellent, whether it's take out, ordering ahead, or dine in. No shortage of staff here. One feels well taken care of, and the food is excellent.

My favorite place in Salisbury to eat! Drinks are the best around you have to try the Cheerwine Margarita if you're looking for a new Adult beverage. Also, Barbara is the best! She always asks us and catches up with us even when not in our section! You'll always be treated like family!

Service is quite slow. It took a a while to get our drinks and food. They finally made it to us hot and fresh. Food was good. But, the wait to get served and the wait to receive our bill, not so much.

I got the Pastor burrito, which I love. My husband got fajitas, steak, chicken and shrimp. He loved them. Service was excellent. You can make your own dessert sampler with 3 options. I got the mango mousse cake, the tequila tiramisu and the cinnamon plantains. The plantains aren't available for the sampler, but our server let me get them anyway, which was very cool. All of my desserts were delicious! We eat here about every 2 to 3 months. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Salisbury!

I have been a this restaurant several times. My family and I drive quite a way (about an hour) to enjoy the amazing food, and the wonderful staff. We are always seated in a reasonable amount of time, and served our chips and salsa right away. The margaritas are out of this world, and if you want authentic Mexican food this is the place to go!
